THE PARADOX

He is Adam, but he claims not to be the Adam – the father of mankind. He is an ancient immortal protector and preserver of the human race.

Adam's historical attempts to right the balance of human nature through teaching, reason, fear and perceived miracles are certainly derivative of some biblical and other ancient fables. However, today, despite his powers, the message is lost in the grand cacophony of progressive civilization and cannot be heard.

The collective human conscience has strayed from good at a rate faster than Adam is able to maintain. The unfortunate consequences are effecting the world on a global environmental and social scale. Human nature is bound by no rules of nature. Whereas, nature works in perfectly balanced symbiosis, human nature is a wild card that can break down the whole system. It effects the elements, water, earth, air, etc. When Human Nature is negatively imbalanced, nothing in nature is able to act as a counter-balance. Therefore, the life-force of the planet, the Spectra, becomes sick. Therein lies Adam’s impossible task of maintaining the balance.   Adam is at the mercy of The Spectra.

Adam loves all of humanity, and is resistant to doing any human harm. He desperately uses his powers and influence to maintain the balance of human nature to avoid consequence from the Spectra. But when the balance is compromised and Adam cannot change it with his good kind heart, the evil dormant within him takes matters in his own hands.

The Rektificus, a shadow of a serpent that moves freely on the surface of Adam’s skin, like a living tattoo, can take control and force Adam to eliminate wayward souls, often in gruesome fashion. Adam is forced to destroy that which he loves for the greater good. Because of this contradiction, he is known as THE PARADOX.

So what is the Spectra? The Spectra is a system of interwoven strands of energy like a central nervous system between all humans.  This special connection to the Spectra sets humans apart from the rest of nature. The Spectra relies on the balance of human nature for its own health and survival and has no qualms about coldly rubbing out those souls causing its distress.

The Spectra is truly a complicated system of moral balance. It contains the collective souls of man in the form of millions of individual electro-static strings, called Catenae. These Catenae emanate out from the center of the Earth like an enormous plasma globe. The Spectra is paramount to the very existence and future of all mankind. Without it, life would exist in a very different way.

The thing that makes us human, the light and awareness within us, our soul, only exists if we are plugged in to the Spectra. But we are unaware of this. A soul is not a unique individual essence as many believe. It is, in fact, a force shared with many connected to an individual Catena. A Catena is a soul collective. Those within (attached to) one of these collectives are called Electi. The chosen ones.  Us.

The Spectra, and all of its contiguous Catenae, are completely invisible and unknown to most life on Earth. Each Catena is connected by one single Electi source called a Radix. A Radix is a very special Electi. All of the energy of an entire Catena run through this individual like a plug in the wall. If this plug were to die without passing on the link, all souls connected would cease to exist.

While an Electi’s soul is not individually unique, the moral conscience of each individual is unique and unpredictable. Free will allows Electi to sin or save at any moment. Fluctuations within a Catena effect the Spectra’s overall health and existence. Keeping the moral balance of human nature within each Catena is Adam’s infinite burden.

The healthiest Catenae are some of the oldest. They connect strong family lines with good moral values, communities with positive collective beliefs, religions with thoughtful and powerful tenets, etc. But times are changing. Spirituality is dying. The once collective morals of teachings designed to keep us in line, like the 10 Commandments, are now thought of as more of a suggestion, ancient nonsense, or back-ground noise.

This indifference has made way for many morally directionless Catenae that connect Electi with very little in common. These Catenae are unstable, unbalanced and in constant need of correction. Through creative calculation, Adam can narrow a Catena’s source of issue to one or a few Electi. These are the Electi that Adam must either reform or eliminate for the greater good.

Each Electi has an individual Aura. An Electi’s Aura will influence the Catena with whom he’s connected either positively, negatively or neutrally. This Aura reveals the undeniable bare truth of that individual Electi’s nature.

An Electi’s Aura appears to Adam in one of three colors: blue, green and yellow. Blue is a rare color that is achieved by those good and pure. All babies are born blue. Many Electi die blue through deathbed atonement. Most Electi will achieve blue for short periods of their lives, but human nature is most comfortable at a nice even green. Green is a color shared by most. It denotes a balance in one’s conscience, values and personal nature. However, these good and balanced Electi can be influenced by malevolent beings trying to disrupt or destroy the Spectra. If an Electi’s core values are compromised their Aura will fade to a dull Yellow. Yellow indicates one’s tendency to be selfish, harm others, steal, murder etc. In a word, sinners.

Yellow are not the worst offenders, however. The worst and most diabolical among us are those not connected to the Spectra. The unchosen, the soulless…the Drudges. A Drudge’s nature is underhanded, sociopathic and evil. To Adam, Drudges appear as gray, gaunt creatures easy to spot. But to us, those traits are invisible and they blend into our society like lunatic chameleons able to achieve their vast infiltration somewhat easily as they simply appear as normal members of our community. They live as teachers, bankers, taxi drivers, millionaires, the homeless, etc. But they are not connected to the Spectra. They have no soul. They envy and hate the Electi and their light. Their conniving nature aims to influence unsuspecting green and blue Electi toward the yellow path of selfishness and evil.

Although Adam appears to us as a mere man, the Drudges and other immortal enemies see Adam’s true form as the Paradox and fear his judgement and wrath. Adam doesn’t need the Spectra’s influence to eliminate a Drudge. Drudges are ants at Adam’s picnic and he is the exterminator.

There is a World War of Light raging on and we are completely in the dark. We, humans, are the Electi. The Spectra Universe is unseen and unknown to us. We are the unique and free willed people of the world. However, Drudges know they are Drudges. A collapse of the Spectra would allow the Drudges to rise up, rule the diseased Earth and leave all Electi vulnerable prey to their innate ruthlessness and envy. The meek would inherit the Earth and turn it into a dark, desolate and soulless world. The end of days. The Apocalypse.
